There is no job that is unchallenging. In all jobs, hard work is needed. Unlike the researcher said that working in unchallenging job like fast-food restaurant will only make students learn few new skills for their future. As a matter of fact I know a man that used to study in Australia and he worked at a coffee shop. After he graduated, he came back to Indonesia and made a coffee shop businesses in few cities in the country. And when I asked him where did you learn to make coffee? He said he used to work at a coffee shop while he was in university. My point is, I think part-time job is beneficial for everyone, but it depends on the people whether they can create chances from what they learned or not. I think the worst will be that students who have more extra money from work often use it for things they don’t really need. “Working leads less to the accumulation of savings or financial contributions to the family than to a higher level of spending on cars, clothes, stereos, concerts, and other luxury things.” This is dangerous because it leads to the hedonism where people always buy luxury and expensive things. It is dangerous especially for students where they don’t really need things like that. It also leads to an increase in the consumption of drugs and alcohol when students cannot control their money management. That’s why, I think students who work should have a good self-control so this kind of problem doesn’t get in the way and interrupt their (students) education and growing
