Prehistoric sites around Clinton have been shown to be up to 3,000 years old, but European settlers did not arrive until the 18th century. In 1801, the settlers founded a town that they named Burrville in honor of the country's new vice-president, Aaron Burr. However, Burr fell into disgrace, resulting in the town being renamed in 1809; historians believe that the new name was to honor George Clinton, the vice-president who followed Burr, but the name could conceivably honored DeWitt Clinton, George's nephew and the mayor of New York City at the time. Regardless of how the name was chosen, life in Clinton was not without its challenges, including a variety of pests. Certain termites, for example, prospered in the area's climate.…

Inversely, the case of the latter remains an open debate to historians and even the rest of the world. This paper aims to arrive to a verdict whether the term barbarian is fitting to the Mongols or not. World History offers many historical leaders to discuss in terms of merit and effectiveness. From Ramesses the Great to Hammurabi, from Julius Caesar to Liu Bang, or from Winston Churchill to Ronald Reagan each offered something more to the treasure trove of antiquity. With storied leaders such as Chinggis and Khubilai Khan, Mongolian history flows with rich details about excellence in battle and life.…

Conclusion In any Native American tribes, one of the core principle values is that every member works together, which integrates the tribe. When the American settlers and Henry Dawes created the Dawes Act, it destroyed the idea of togetherness and encouraged the idea of individual success and prosperity. Through the reeducation process of the children and stripping of their cultural identity, many Native American tribes disbanded and no longer identify with their tribe or the culture. In present day, the existing Native American tribes that live on reservations have tried to reinvigorate their tribes by creating language learning programs to teach the tribal languages so that the younger members can learn the native languages of their ancestors.…
