Pros And Cons Of Gun Controversy

Gun Controversy “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, Shall not be infringed.” My interpretation of the second amendment is me being able to legally purchase a firearm and use it for protection if I need to. I am all for guns however, I do believe there are pros, cons, and gun laws to allow Americans to keep their guns. Guns can definitely be used as a protection based on how responsible gun owners are. In Responsible Gun Ownership Saves Lives, paragraph five and six states how gunfire broke out in Clackamas County Mall in Oregon. Two shot, one wounded, Meli drew his gun on Roberts, saving lives of the innocent shoppers. The media don't talk much about situations like the Clackamas County Mall because they only want to portray guns in a negative light. The media only present us with information that involves crime to scare people who are already against guns and make them fight for strict policies. If America take guns away from the citizens we the people will lose power.
