How To Reduce Gun Control In America

When Americans wake up in the morning, sipping on fresh coffee and watching the news on the television, they learn of a recent murder, assault, or rape, that happened the previous night. The news may only highlight one or two of these events from yesterday, but often times there is a multitude of untold stories. Media outlets only report on who, when, where, why, and how the crimes took place, but they never focus on how to prevent these events from happening. Politicians announce their plan to reduce these infractions but rarely is there any action. The split opinion’s of the American public on gun control lead to no resolutions, too. As a result of the national divide on proposed solutions, there has yet to be any progress on solving this pressing issue. Those who are not formerly convicted felons, or those who do not suffer from mental deficiencies, will still be subject to the same laws and regulations to acquire a firearm. In addition, individuals who possess firearms that will be deemed illegal under the grade regulation will be required to turn in the weapons to the government. Those who must participate in the entire process that will eventually pass will be at a disadvantage. Also, individuals who would have illegal firearms after the new amendments will be turning in their firearms, but not without proper compensation for properly abiding by the new legislation. Nevertheless, the proposed laws would be inconvenient to most that desire to own a firearm, but the order’s purpose would be to eliminate the possibility of a dangerous individual obtaining a weapon to commit a violent crime.
