The have been here for about twenty-five years but, we still know little about them. Genetically modified foods are extremely harmful to our bodies and the environment.

A variety of different diseases and symptoms were found in laboratory rats after a four month period (Newsmax). In the study fifty percent of male rats and.seventy percent of females died prematurely (Newsmax). For the rats who did live past the end of the experiment developed large tumors in the next year and a half (Newmax). This study also proved that Gmo products have carcinogens that cause breast and blood cancers (Newsmax).

From 1997 to 1999 allergies had grown by 3.4% . In another study conducted it had showed that a 5.1% increase in allergies occurred from 2009 to 2014 (Colbert). The reason for this is because Gmo companies use unnatural ingredients in our food, like salmon cells in strawberries (Pros).
