Genetically Modified Organisms, (GMO), definitely raises some concerns when it comes to health and if it is actually safe to consume, since the US still allows the use of GMO, we should at least be aware of which foods contain it and which ones don't. We as the consumers should have the right to decide what we put in our bodies and especially know exactly what ingredients are in the foods we are buying. I certainly don’t want to be feeding my children and my family that could potentially harm them in the long run. Especially since there is no evidence stating there is no negative effects of consuming GMO foods. In actuality, there is studies stating the consumption of GMO foods actually introduces new toxins and allergens.
