There are many pros and cons of alternative energy and fossil fuels. There are many more pros of alternative energy. Pros of renewable energy is, it is available all over the world because there is sun and wind. There is no chance of renewable energy becoming depleted in the future. Fossil fuels produce pollution and when people breathe it in, it can only harm people, and if people want to be more healthy they need to stop producing more pollution. Fossil fuels are a type of energy source that if we use all of them, they will no longer exist. If we use more renewable energy and use less fossil fuels then there will be more fossil fuels in the future for something more important. There are countries that feel like they should use fossil fuels because they have an abundant supply and can obtain the resources easily. They also make money by producing a lot of fossil fuels making them a big business for the country producing it. Saudi Arabia is the largest oil producer (Wilson,"Which Countries").If you were running Saudi Arabia would you stop producing oil? Most likely you wouldn 't because producing oil is a great way to make money and create jobs. If someone had a lot of oil then why wouldn 't they produce it to make energy and economic growth.
