If I were to try and fix the criminal justice so that the players in the system are forced to care I would make sure that it is acknowledged that there is a problem with our Criminal Justice system. In order to fix our system, we have to start with the persons making the arrest. All police officer should wear bodycams whiles on duty. We have to start to reform our nations criminal justice sentencing laws. We have to stop seeing poor communities as high violent areas and dangerous and treat them like any other community. We need more public defenders to stand up and protect the innocent before their lives are ruined.
