Among all the candidates for the presidential position for 2016, Dr. Ben Carson seems to be the best option for the Republican-party since the only candidate from that party that is gaining all the votes is a man without government experience. Dr. Ben Carson is a retired neurosurgeon and believes “it is a very good idea for physicians, scientists, engineers, and others trained to make decisions based on facts and empirical data to get involved in the political arena.” However, some else who understand the hardships the United States has been through, has the right ideals about how to save this country, and has the mental capacity to understand the Constitution is better suited for this position. He does support higher education for all the students attending public school, he believes all students should get the same level of education no matter where they go to school. In a statement Dr. Ben made, the American education system has dumbed downed the level of learning. Schools throughout the states have changed what teachers must teach or the way they teach so everyone can understand the material being covered. Health care is one of the major concerns for this Republican. The Affordable Care Act, which provided $1.2 trillion to be used on giving health care to those who need, still leaves as many as 23 billion people without a health care since they cannot afford it. Dr. Carson, a retired neurosurgeon, calls for less government intrusion in the families and physician’s decisions about the money that they have available for health decisions. To improve American families financially, Carson also offers a tax reform that will make each household pay only a tenth of their yearly wage to get rid of loopholes that people get away from paying. By using this reform, families too poor to match the current tax rates will now be able to contribute to society and be able to support their families, no one will be left
