Stones with unpleasant bottoms leave straight striated tracks while those with smooth bottoms have a tendency to meander. Stones once in a while turn over, presenting another edge to the ground and leaving an alternate track in the stone's wake.
Trails contrast in both heading and length. Rocks that begin beside one another may travel parallel for a period, before one unexpectedly alters course to one side, right, or even back to the heading from which it came. Trail length likewise changes – two comparatively estimated and formed rocks may travel
