The animals noticed how the Seven Commandments would have minor changes that made a big difference. “No animal shall sleep in a bed with sheets” was a change made to an original commandment. Whilst the first commandment was “No animal shall sleep in a bed” once the pigs started doing it, nobody questioned them.The animals silenced themselves, event on events when they knew something was wrong.On the other hand, Christopher did not conform.
Christophers non-conformity caused a lot of turmoil. His father warned him to stop trying to figure out how the dog was killed. “Just try and keep your nose out of other people’s business”.(Haddon pg.#41).Instead of Christopher listening, he ignored his father so he could figure out what happened.
