These claims by Henderson are showing a couple different facts. One of these facts is that even if something is potentially unsafe like youth football, there are still many ways to take away these risks. The ways being for coaches and parents to learn more about concussions, signs of concussions, and ways of playing the sport that help to reduce the risks. No matter what technological changes are made to equipment or what rules changes are put in place in these sports, there are always going to be parents that will not let their children play sports like football and hockey. The data that has come out recently about concussions will always be present and used as the first and main argument as to why not let kids play these sports. One of these implications is that I know that there is never going to be a definite answer on whether kids should play these sports or not. All parents have different beliefs on this issue. This also means that all parents tend to evaluate the pros and cons of this issue much differently than I do. Another implication of this research is that while I write about how the changes in these sports that could allow them to still be played, I also recognize that there is still a massive safety risks in sports like football. Lasly, an implication from this essay is my belief that there is always hope to change something for better. While some people think sports like football are going to decline due to these issues, I believe that we will adapt and make it a safer game. Hopefully, we
