The act of voting allows America to be governed by a select person whose citizens believe the most competent to carry out the best job possible in upholding their decisions as a majority. Unfortunately, many American people simply don 't vote, yet complain about the way the government presides over the nation. They are oblivious to see how making an effort to go out and vote comes Election Day is a constructive means of improving our nation’s government. Voting promotes accountability for the nation’s choices and decreases the chance that someone will complain about their government.
