Have you ever thought about having a cell phone at school? Many people say they are education tools and should be at school, others don’t agree. I believe that cell phones should not be at school because they are distracting, cause cyber bullying, and addiction. Some people may think that cell phones should be at school because they are a learning tool and it makes things more fun, here is a quote from A Silicon Valley School That Doesn’t Compute “The students say they become frustrated when their parents and relatives they get so wrapped up in phones and other devices,” that proves that kids hate when cell phones get theirs parents wrapped up, so that made me think we 'll if their parents are wrapped up and the kids hate it, then, if the don’t like it, then why would they like to also be wrapped up.

Some may think that cell phones won’t cause any disruption, but what happens if someone gets a call or text and the phone rings. If you were a teacher, and your class was using cell phones, and every five seconds there is a ”ring,ring, you would agree that Cell phones are very distracting. By a show of hands a lot of people in our class don’t have a phone. Having a phone at school is making kids get phones to early. In our class we have IPads, and at the beginning of math we all wanted to be in Ms. Folendorf class, because we did not want anyone to take our IPad, when people changed the backgrounds on the IPad our class was very mad. This proves our class got personal with the IPads and wasn’t ok with sharing. Your own phone is different from the IPads, it is even more personal.
