It is said that a campus carry law is bound to be released for college campuses as soon as the year of twenty seventeen takes off. The approved law will allow all students with concealed carry license to bring guns into school grounds. Although anyone that is 21 years of age are only allowed to carry their guns. Statistics show that around 2.5 million of citizens use guns to defend themselves against crime, or roughly around 6,850 individuals use their guns on the daily basis. Campus carry can either have its pros and cons, for it could either save a life or kill one too.

Perhaps a student may not have the knowledge of who the target is and may hurt an innocent person. Following with University of Houston-Victoria junior Bola Adebayo states, "True, those who are able to carry weapons have to go through training and background check, but just because they passed what they need to in order to carry concealed weapons doesn 't mean something accidental won 't happen," (Montes). From this, we can understand that when someone goes through training it does not prevent from accidentally shooting someone. The person may be qualified but they must see it beyond that, for they may go mad and abuse the use of the 2nd amendment. Through the rigorous training and acquiring a license they are not told how to react in a time of frantic.
