According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, sexting is defined as “the sending of sexually explicit messages or images by cell phone.” After reading about sexting and several cases in our textbook, in my opinion I think there are some flaws to this law. Let Them Get Bored”, by Alyson Jones (2014), advises parents to permit their children to experience boredom as it is an essential component of a child’s development. Jones declares that it is not the parent’s responsibility to constantly amuse his/her children, instead, exposing children to boredom is more beneficial as it allows them to better understand themselves and their own personal thoughts. Furthermore, this self-awareness leads to better comprehending the emotions and actions required to develop social connections with others. Likewise, boredom increases one’s creativity, while also motivating a child to strive for additional success.…

Being a You tuber is a activity that I stated this year of 2016. My idea was to have all 120,000 community college students around the DFW to join the channel and make their own videos and put on the channel. The videos can be anything from short films, podcast, interviews, comedy, music, make up, debates, protest and ect. I did it because I want to connect all students through one network and not divide us because of the schools we go to. My generation needs to be our own voice and many of us are tired of having 40 and 50 year olds representing us when they don’t know our culture.…
