When talking about women in sports nowadays, it’s difficult to not bring up the obvious talking point. Wage equality. It is pretty clear and sad to say that in today’s society, males are the most dominate figure in sport. Despite the growing levels of participation by female athletes in competitive levels, unequal pay amongst men and women is prevalent throughout sport. The questions arise on whether there should be equal pay or not? As for women in sport, specifically women in basketball, often dispute on the noticeable disparity of women and men’s in salary. I believe that there has been an unequal pay in men and women in basketball due to the difference in league revenue. There is no doubt that women in basketball are underpaid; however,
