Pros And Cons Of Being Lewdness

Lewdness means touching a minor to arouse, appeal to or gratify the perpetrators sexual desires. The touching may be done by the perpetrator or by the minor under the perpetrators direction (Mike Thomas). A short while ago the government extended the definition of lewdness adding Lascivious which means the touching over clothing. The charge was also elevated to a felony it was considered an attempted sexual assault before for the same crime in some states and still is. In some cases where the crime or act is lesser defendants can receive a sentence that is probated. I believe that is unfair especially to the family because I believe that gives the defendant space and opportunity to do it again. I believe in you do it once and get away with it you will do it again to someone else child. Lewdness is more serious than people actually expose it to be it ruins the mental state of a child. As a child being lewd into doing something unwilling you are incapable of actually defending yourself from this. A kids first thought is to just do as said. I personally just think it has to be a sick individual that can see this as being ok. To me this is older people praising on minors. How can a minor even attract you in anyway shape or form. I think for society purposes it is an even worse concept considering majority of times this act happens within the household or outside by a known person, and what do you do when you have some kids such as friend who do not tell or act as if anything ever happen to them? How can you help a child that doesn’t even know what is going on to talk about the events that took place?
