Notably, there is a lack of new opportunities for the people who currently live in America. In Barack Obama's, Keynote address, he mentioned, “[A]Young woman in East St. Louis, and thousands more like her, who have the grades, have the drive, have the will, but don’t have the money to go to college”(Obama, 7). It is assumed that every American has the same opportunities and she will be successful in her search. For example, Fred Zinnemann has directed some of the most honored movies in Hollywood, yet had failed in some of his earlier movies. He is a perfect example of an individual that earned success through their hard work in filmmaking ( Zinsser, 9). Although Zinnemann had worked hard through his career, he was still given the opportunity to create films by someone who took a chance on him and believed in his work.
