Waffle Now Human Relations Officer,

I think that Waffle Now servers should be paid the federal non-tipped wage. As of now we are being paid the U.S's minimum tipped wage. This wage has not been adjusted in years while the non-tipped wage has nearly doubled.

Because us servers are being paid the minimum tipped wage we are forced to heavily depend on tips from customers. The average tip in similar resturaunts in the area is 16.6% which sounds great until you learn that you have to pay taxes on all tips, leaving you with what is actually most of the time less than the minimum tipped wage. Most of the servers I know are forced to rely on government assistance because they just dont earn enough to make ends meet.
