Are Athletes Being Overpaid?

First off, how much do athletes even retrieve on their paychecks? According, they earn around $71 million per year just for entertaining us. However, that astonishing amount is around triple what a firefighter would make, why certainly that is beyond my knowledge. Likewise, why is it that people who risk their lives do not even earn half the amount of what athletes make. In America today, athletes are way overpaid compared to people that actually put forth work, and effort into saving people.
Nevertheless, it just is not right for them to retrieve money so highly. According to Edelman, “Consider this: LeBron James made $71 million last year. Nurses who dedicate
