Arranged Marriages Shouldn’t Be Overlooked Arranged marriage used to be common practice, however in the U.S. it’s rarely seen. Kids who do have to endear those harrowing experiences can develop a somber personality. Those in two parent households are also more likely to better in school and have higher college aspirations. Married women are also at a substantially lower risk for domestic violence. Lastly single men are six times more likely to be incarcerated than a married man.
