If everyone has access to fire arms you’re giving people that shouldn’t even be anywhere near firearms a way to potentially hurt more innocent lives. That would also pretty much get rid of gun free zones if everyone had fire arms, I personally wouldn’t want to be on anyone’s bad side if that were the case because now it would become potentially a fatal…

This brings us to an example of when a person who legally had a concealed firearm was able to prevent an attempted mass shooting in Chicago, Illinois. On April 17th, 2015, an Uber driver was on his way to pick up his next customer. While waiting a stoplight, a man on the crosswalk had begun to shoot randomly at people walking across. At this time, the Uber driver who had a concealed carry permit had got out of his car and shot the man several times, saving a countless number of lives and an attempted mass shooting according to the police chief of the City of Chicago. Good samaritans like the Uber driver makes it justifiable to allow citizens to have the right to bear firearms and use it for self defense, contrary to how the government wants to tighten control over firearms even…

Future Legislation Our nation has suffered too much at the hands of dangerous people who use guns to commit acts of violence. I’m not one to think that we can stop every violent act, but if there is anything that we can be done to prevent any of these events we must try, but within reason. Most gun owners are responsible and law-abiding, and they use their guns safely. While no law or set of laws will end gun violence, it is clear that the American people want action, but that action can’t be to arm the masses.…

From A Salt Rifle to an Assault Rifle: Our right as able-bodied citizens to own assault weaponry William S. Burroughs declared, "After a shooting spree, they always want to take the guns away from the people who didn't do it." The Second amendment protects our right as able-bodied citizens to own all firearms (including assault weaponry), and preserves our natural right to defend ourselves. When the term “assault weapon” is used in the media no one really knows what it means, as there is no definitive legal definition. Some people say that it means any black rifle with a magazine capacity of thirty or more bullets, others argue that it means a fully automatic military weapon; while some maintain that it means an AR-15 rifle.…

Despite this, other changes can be made and new laws can be enforced to possibly minimize the amount of incidents that occur nationwide. Approximately 306 people are shot every day by assaults, suicides and police interferences. I believe in order to better this country for the path of less violence, a plan needs to be made to even further tighten our security, as well as our punishments, to better enforce the law of non-licensed people not being able to wield, or carry around a gun. This could be in the form of a bill, legislation, or even a new law passed by congress that proposes that any and all individuals seen or caught possessing a firearm illegally, or, in an area that prohibits them after being forewarned, will be prosecuted immediately. These laws will also come with more efficient security checks at places such as airports, clubs and crowded…
