Being called out late at night or early in the morning is probably the worst part, definitely if you aren’t a morning person. Another con would be customers giving a hard time or thinking you’re ripping them off because you will have this problem sooner or later in your career and you will have to figure out what to do. Having the risk of being injured while working with patients that are 1000+ lbs is a scary thing to think about but if you are truly dedicated to this career you won’t have a problem with taking risks. The weather since you’ll be working outdoors might not always be what you want and you have to learn to adapt to it and learn how to work in it. Also being around horses and getting paid for it, I don’t know about other people but I love horses and being able to have a job that gives me the ability to be around them all the time is the best part about this career.
