From the interviews that took place, there were clear testaments that adult learners learn differently and go to college from numerous reasons. These reasons are but not limited to chance of a promotion at work, a chance to complete a degree that was started elsewhere or starting college from the beginning. It could even be said that any student out of high school would benefit from general education classes that connect back to their lives. Although that is not always the case there are other ways to have the student connect with curriculum. Since opportunity of going back to college once a person has started their career job is becoming more common there is even more of a need for adult learners to feel included in classes.
