Pros And Cons Of A Sanctuary

The practice of providing “sanctuary” have roots the middle ages where people seek asylum would go to Church, where they have protection from persecution. In a country that is divided by party lines, and gripped with recent consequences, the word sanctuary has controversies. The Trump Administration has time and time again doubted the effectiveness of progressives’ agenda and turn to methods of deportations, border control, and crackdowns for salvation from the problem. A look into the past, will prove that measures like these will seem good at the time they have been imposed, but down the line will become precedents of terrible acts. Why not read something, why not think, instead of blindly shouting for more constraint on liberty. If we do deport them, it will be because they are different from us. Well, would it stop from other immigrants to make the same attempt? The better approach in my opinion would be trying to assimilate these people into our culture and make use of their talents and skill. What lose would we have if we have more talented people in this nation and what gain do we have from denying ourselves access to that resources. It is proven the more the penalties are less barbarous, the crimes are less frequent. Do I have to argued that cruelty only breeds cruelty? Every leader who's held up as an example, has taught us that if there is any way to kill evil, it's not by treating men less. If there's any way of destroying hatred and all that goes with it. it's not through evil and hatred and cruelty through charity, love, and understanding.
