PA’s really have a huge impact on rural areas than urban. Responsibilities can be emotionally and physically demanding at times. PA’s also have Physicians to consult with, because the job can be a little hectic and stressful. They have flexible hours, last but not least they like working independently. Disadvantages of the profession, although they share responsibilities with the MDs they receive lower pay rates, and not much authority. One reason would be my mom was once in the medical field, so seeing her happy to help someone else in need really touched me. Also while I'm in highschool I'm receiving more knowledge about the field and I'm really interested in where this is going to take me. I've already started emailing colleges such as ECU and UNC, they've given me awesome advice about how I should go about futurist my career. I would just love waking up every morning going to help brighten up someone's day by simply influencing their lives by helping them. In my future to come I really see myself doing this for as long as I can, but I want to work my way up to being a PA.
