Pediatric Healthcare
Innocence, purity, and wonder are a few words that could be used to describe children. The younger years are when we are fullest of enthusiasm and curiosity. These are the years that we are most moldable, so the hands we are put in are momentous. The care we receive as children could determine our entire future. Therefore, it is up to the older generations to make sure that these children are receiving the proper attention.

Imagine having a very ill child in your hands, and knowing that you are one of the most certified people to be taking care of that child. Not only does this benefit the patients, but it will benefit you personally as well. You will also be recognized as more reliable by others in the workplace. Having a person to talk to was nice because it was easy to get quick and honest answers. Cara Walker, a pediatric nurse at St.
Luke's Hospital in Twin Falls, ID gave me a lot of information about what it is like to be a nurse in the pediatric services
A little bit of background information about her is that she has worked at St. Luke's for about 8 years now. She entered this field of work because she loves children and teenagers, going on to also mention that she has a few of her own. She also loves the job as a nurse, and helping others. Prior to this job she had worked for two different pediatricians, and has worked with kids in education.
Something about the job as a pediatrician that is really hard is the death of a child. It is the
