In order to answer this week’s question, I have to identify that I am a United States Air Force Enlisted Accessions Recruiter and I will give an Air Force Recruiting perspective down to the recruit level.
First off, the United States Air Force is actively hiring candidates that possess the highest level of moral, physical and academic standard. The following criteria is what we are looking for:
Citizenship, Non-Conscientious objector, MORALS (law violations within Air Force acceptance), Age, Physical (medical history & tattoos/piercings/body modifications), Education, Dependents (within Air Force tolerance), Drug use (within Air Force tolerance) and Credit History. First, let’s look at the situation from the Air Force's level.
The Air Force Recruiting Squadron Headquarters provides oversight on a strategic level by providing guidance on what type of applicants we need to be putting into the Air Force based on the former entry criteria. Furthermore, they task us out to provide X amount of bodies each month (goal/quota).
