What is left are the very few things genuinely useful to the benefit of their purchase. Minimalism is practised by many people in life today, people like Robert Pattinson, Steve Jobs, and Vincent Kartheiser from “Mad Men.” (Mcdonell-Parry, 2010) These men practice and preach minimalism to the best of their ability, but unfortunately, they are the only minimalists that get recognised as such. White straight men are the face of minimalism to date, small blogs and writers like Brett and Kate Mckay are working to change the face of minimalism by introducing minimalism as a family lifestyle, a lifestyle not just for single white men.
