These are the reasons why History Knowledge of our grandparents should be documented; to preserve family history knowledge, to teach younger generation how to avoid making the same mistake as mention in the history, as a reminder for the younger generation and to make sure younger generation know their own family history.
The reason why we need to preserve family history knowledge is because family histories that have been told by our grandparents are precious for us. By preserving family history, younger generation will be able to share their family histories with other, especially among their friends or relatives.

In this article, the author explains about the strategies for subjecting photograph as a tool to capture historical event. The approach used is documentary photography, where the photograph is used as subject to historical evidence that reflected to the past events. Photographer can add a powerful interpretive title or descriptive caption for each photograph to expand the viewers’ perspectives thinking. Younger generation nowadays are extremely exposed to digital world. A lot of youngsters especially age between 18 to 25 years old have their own smartphones. By using this technology approach, younger generation can use all their knowledge in digital technology to document their family history from their grandparents. Digital technology approach consists of photography, sound and film.
In the past, people prefer to document history using pictures. But, the problem with pictures is that after a while, people will be uninterested to keep looking at the same pictures. The same thing happens to sound approach and film approach. People will lose interest after hearing or watching the same thing. Therefore, instead of using one method to document family history, it is better to combine all the method into one approach.
In photography method, the formats that were usually will be chosen are either jpeg or png. Each format has their benefit. Pictures in jpeg format usually look more realistic. Meanwhile .png are for images that is text-heavy that have few colours. Then, in sound method, the sound formats were usually in .mp3 or .mp4. Nowadays, young generation prefer mp4 due to the size of the sound. Mp3 sound data size is heavier than
