Proposal: Good Morning Ktkings Family

Decent Essays
Good Morning KTKings Family,
As previously advised, with travel basketball comes a fee that covers each tournament that we participate in, full uniforms shoes included for each player. We would like to have a dinner fundraiser to help offset some of the cost. Coach Jamiro will have a food trailer at Carter Park on Saturday, April 1st. We would like each player to sell at least 20 dinners. Coach Jamiro will hand out the tickets, menu, and prices for each dinner at our next practice on Wednesday, March 8th. We would like the fundraiser to run smoothly as possible so we are requesting that the tickets be sold and orders be turned in by Saturday, March 25th, So that we can plan and properly fulfill the order request. The tickets will not be handed

Finance Due to the lack of student attendance, the amount of funding from sponsorships has been negatively affected with average annual donations at only $60,000. As a nonprofit organization, Western Athletics relies on sponsors and donors; an unreliable and unpredictable source of money. As a result, Morton has budgeted $10,000 towards advertising events to boost student attendance with the goal of securing a price increase of $7 per student from sponsors. Although Morton wishes to use the whole marketing budget, it is still concerning as Morton will need to limit the number of promotional initiatives as the budget is relatively small to establish an effective marketing campaign. In addition, Western Athletics is currently able to generate enough revenue to cover event expenses (See Exhibit 1).…

The Friends United Network (F.U.N) has decided to carry on the task of painting the John Franklin School of Learning on 13 Martin Street in Spanish Town, St. Catherine. The John Franklin School of Learning is a nonprofit educational institution which started operations in 2007 and provides education for 62 students from inner city residential areas between the ages of 12 and 14 years old who are without any formal teaching. After the students have passed their end of year examinations, they are furnished with a recommendation letter from the school so that they can be filtered into the high school system. The building that the school currently occupies has lost its exterior aesthetic beauty, lacks educational paintings and the name of the school on the wall is hardly noticeable. After discussions with Mrs. Maria Buckle who is the headmistress, it was established that since the institution had moved into the building the space has not been painted over and they have been unable to source the funds or manpower to do the like.…

My plan to compensate college athletes comes from the idea of stipends. I have two potential plans to pay players through stipends. As we have discovered, athletes are already shorted by their university $2000- $3000 a year because of attending university costs. But not even this projected amount covers other expenses like travel expenses, food expenses, and clothing expenses. Athletes, like other students, require the ability to travel to class or home, but because athletes are representing the school on the field, they don’t often get the same opportunities.…
