There are many different outlooks on whether property ownership is a good or bad thing. Many would think property ownership is a bad thing and brings with it many responsibilities. However, there are many great bebefits to owning your own property.

With owning your own property, it gives you the right to do as you please with it. In America, many people would want to buy a piece of land and build a home on it. There are many different ways you could go about owning a piece of land. Most families would build or buy their family home with the dream of raising their children there. When you own your own home you can paint the walls, practice an instrument for band class in the middle of the night, build or plant outside, and live freely without rules and regulations. When living in a home where you have landlords, you are not freely allowed to do as you please. If you want a family pet or want to change something about the interior of the home, you must get approval. Typically, the American dream is to own a home for you and your family to grow old in and make many memories.

Both sides have convincing reasoning behind them but in the long run through all the battles, owning property is an amazing thing. It will give you a place to build a home and have family if that is what you want. Some will start a farm and grow fruits and vegetables on it to sell.
