Propaganda in Animal Farm and Russian Revolution When words are used effectively, it can elicit deep emotions in others. It can motivate others to take action and define the nature of relationships. Words or a certain phrase can bring tears to the eyes, and call up a whole new host of imagery, or enterprise that could move people deeply enough to start a revolution. In Animal Farm by George Orwell, is a classic allegory reflecting the events that led to the Russian Revolution. Animal Farm takes place on a farm in England.
