Adolf Hitler wanted large areas were to create the ghettos, so he used areas of Western Poland and elsewhere Jews to be confined in special areas of cities. The ghettos had to be located in cities on railway or along the railway, so on future it would be easier to transport Jews from different places. One of the first ghettos was set up in Piotrkow on October 1939. Some other ghettos were set up into other regions. The two largest ghettos were Warsaw and Lodz, where Germans expelled 40,000 Jews in one and 38,000 in the other one. All the Jews people were expelled in a few weeks into those ghettos.
