The film showed Jews living in deplorable conditions and compared them to rats that spread diseases. The Nazi made-up stories about the Jews living conditions in order to portray it as normal for the Jews and have Germans turn against them. In addition, Goebbels staged the filming of the 1936 Berlin Olympics to show the world the superiority of the Aryan race in Nazi Germany. The Germans hid the true story of Herschel Grynszpan, an outrage Jewish teen who was living with relatives after his family smuggled him France allegedly killed Count von Welczek a German secretary to the Ambassador of France because of the treatment of his parents and other Jews in Germany were arrested on the spot and held for trial. Gobbles seized this opportunity to further promote his Nazi agenda of eliminating all Jews from Nazi controlled territories. By using the Nazi controlled media, Goebbels ordered the production of posters depicting the teen as a villain and insisted that all Jews were out to kill the Nazis. The villainous image of the teen on the posters did not reflect his real photo. The propaganda photo appeared much older and evil in appearance. After releasing the posters, Goebbels demanded swift and deliberate attack against the Jews. The poster was the last tool used to incite the German people to launch riots that led physical and the murder of Jews. The riot is known as The Kristallnacht, (“Night of Broken Glass”). After

This was Hitler’s right hand man, and this is the man who ultimately brainwashed everyone. Goebbels promoted the Nazi message through art, music, theater, films, books, radio, and the press. Goebbels worked to inflame the anger of Germans over their defeat in World War I and emphasized German cultural and military achievements to boost national pride. He had the same idea as America, with gaining national pride, it's just they were nowhere close to being the same. I strongly disagree with his usage of propaganda and with him creating it.…

Using propaganda to advertise the war is different from using propaganda as slam towards another country. One of the countries that were targeted was obviously Germany. Although many of the posters illustrated Hitler, they intended much more than just defense against him. In the illustration “Insure Your Home Against Hitler”, Hitler is depicted to express anger and evil (“Insure Your Home Against Hitler”). Although only Hitler is shown in the image, the message about foreign countries and their “dangers” spreads throughout American society.…

The goal was to strike a balance between a hero who would sacrifice everything for his country, and someone that could have been your next door neighbor. Kershaw’s collection of evidence from this time shows that the public was very receptive to these tactics. However, Kershaw does not give all of the credit to Goebbels. He also acknowledges that the values of the nationalist press, which had drenched the German population for decades at that point, helped to make Goebbels’ job that much easier. The population was already primed for ideas like this.…

Many films were created as propaganda to belittle the Jews and to promote the strength of the Aryan race whom Hitler praised. One such film was The Eternal Jew (1940), which showed Jews as being horrible people who were consumed with the idea of sex and money. This use of propaganda was successful in promoting the Nazi message and brainwashed many people into believing in the same ideals. As well as propaganda, Hitler censored the press in Germany to assure that everything he wanted the Germans to see, like the propaganda, were being seen and that nothing negative about the Nazi Party or himself was being viewed instead. This, along with Hitler’s military forces, kept people from opposing Hitler and made it much easier for him to rise to power and stay in power when he got there (United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, 2016).…

The Nazi regime used propaganda for targeting, influencing hatred of people of a certain culture or religion, and in hopes that it would help create their perfect society. Although the Jewish people were the common victim of the Holocaust genocide, “The Nazis did not just target the Jews”(“Defining the Enemy”). The Nazi propaganda also targeted gypsies, homosexuals, those who opposed Hitler 's rule, and those who did not fit into the perfect society the Nazis intended to create. These ‘inferior’ people were the mentally ill, people with physical disabilities, the deaf and the blind. The Nazis influenced hatred among the nations.…

For the Germans who did not join the bandwagon of using Jews as scapegoats, this poster was supposed to convince them that Jews were evil and they should condone the violence Jews faced as well-reasoned and deserved. For the Jews who did nothing to deserve this hate, this poster was supposed to degrade them, make them feel weak and inferior. For the Europeans who did not know of the senseless dislike of Jewish heritage in Germany, this poster was supposed to tell them that this is what Jews represent: the devil and communism. A confusing aspect of this poster is the writing on it. The message is clear, “Satan is throwing off his mask!”…
