In a time when European countries had gone for 40years without a war, they glorified military power. When one country created a large army another country created a larger one and the process repeated itself. Soon, countries became nervous and started to form an alliance. The main three were France, Britain and Russia who agreed to help each other if they were attacked by another big alliances like the one between Germany, Australia and Turkey. For countries to fight wars, they need people. For people to be willing to go to war they needed a reason to want to go fight in a war, they need motivation and incentive. There are many ways to influence people by propaganda, in the WWI propaganda encouraged people to join the war and as result a lot of people joined the army and a million of people died. If propaganda didn’t encourage people there wouldn’t be much casualties. Radio also played the big part in spreading information that sometimes was not true. The government can easily change information and make people to believe through Radio. Each country government had changed the information, which are “we will easily win the war so just join the army”. If people knew that they are going to die or injure there won’t be many people who joined the army. Newspaper was the most common one to spread information and government can easily control the content to whatever they wanted. By newspaper and radio government had spread wrong information to people to join army, as result there were 6 million casualties had
