Further, the paper discusses the importance of the leader and follower interaction. How the interactions are entwined and the more time spent developing the relationship, sets the stage for a more meaningful experience. This research addresses perceptions, characteristics, and behaviors over time. The research is promoting more from leadership and benefits of progress overtime from the leader follower exchange. This research findings support the direction of my research and the impact of emotional intelligence on leadership development.

Avolio, Walumbwa, and Weber integrative meta-analysis review addresses the evolving world of leadership and consequences related to leadership evolution. This review also addresses the followers, work settings and a broader view to include a more inclusive view. In the review it also addresses organizational behavior and identifies and defines styles of leadership. This will be helpful for the current study because the problem is focusing on leadership and the ability to identify and develop leadership.…
