Promoting Homecoming King

Decent Essays

Lastly, free and food are college students' favorite words, which is what was being handed out.

“Traying” was the first entry that caught my eye because it shows that Wellesley is the type of school that has traditions and a tight-knit community, which is something I am looking for in a college. Not only does sledding on a lunch tray sound incredibly entertaining, but the tradition illustrates that even though Wellesley students work hard, they also find time to have fun. “Traying” demonstrates that finding an optimal balance between work and play is important to the Wellesley community. Additionally, “Traying” exemplifies the “fun” aspect of college that students look forward to.…

For some students, choosing to attend college after high school is an easy decision. Some are expected by their families to continue into higher education post high school graduation. I know a few people that are so motivated to attend college that they already know for sure what they are going to major in before they were even freshmen in high school. For me, I was not falling into that category. College was something I did not consider throughout my time in high school.…
