Promote Americanism Research Paper

I believe that, as young people of our community, we promote Americanism every day in our schools and communities. There are many ways we advocate Americanism in the community, which we live in. In this paper about pushing for Americanism in our community, it will show; how people can be involved, push our country forward, and how important it is to have and voice your opinion. As a community member, it is ideal that we all be involved to better the community; whether it’s showing pride visually or verbally it’s very important to support your community. In our community, there are people or families that have an American flag in front of their house for the people to see. For others, they can be involved by going to school. Going to school is a huge way to become involved, they learn about the history of our country. They may learn from the past mistakes we have made and how we can prevent events similar to that from happening again. When you go to school, most of the time, they say the Pledge of Allegiance, this is important because it should mean more than just repeating words. …show more content…
It is our duty to help, rather than hurt, our country. This is another example of displaying Americanism. If we do not care about who is advocating for us, then if they aren’t speaking for everyone and just themselves. This falls on us. We cannot just stay in the shadows, while others hurt or wrongly treat this country. They cannot take away our Americanism, they shouldn’t be allowed to push others back. We need to help our country and fellow community. In the past others fought for this country, they fought for our freedom. They put in their effort, hard work, and commitment, to better our country and give us our freedom. It is our responsibility to “pay it forward”, keep our country strong, and improve our community.
