Prom Foreshadowing Patterns

I went to prom for bragging rights. I’ve been sewing since I was in elementary school, and ambitiously making my prom dress had been one of my greatest achievements to date. Two months earlier, I had been browsing the array of patterns at the fabric store and laid my eyes on a pattern for the perfect dress. The only problem?
