The theory of collectivism (in all its variants) holds that man is not an end to himself, but is only a tool to serve the ends there. Collectivism, unlike individualism, holds the group as the principal or primary, and the standard of moral, ethical, and honorable value. Whether that group is a dictator’s gang, a nation, a society, a race, (the) god(s), a majority, a community, a tribe, etc., is irrelevant — the point is that man in principle is a sacrificial victim, whose only value is his ability to sacrifice, forfeit, and surrender his happiness for the will of the “group.”
The goal of the Progressive or Socialist in American society today is to fundamentally change the way the people, as American citizens, perceive, and connect to their world. The changes we the Progressives shall impose on the people are as follows:

We have proven that as a Capitalist nation we have failed. Since most Progressives are scholars, writers, scientists, movie writers, actors, producers/directors and artists, we consider ourselves exceptionally more intelligent, and wiser than the average American. Thus, we consider it our duty to guide the less fortunate, or as we secretly call them “the American herd” in the direction, we see our country should be moving as a society. This has come to a unanimous and undisputed vote amongst the top officials in our hundreds of organizations scatter throughout the United States all working and waiting to take the next step towards one collective nature, or society. We have simultaneously changed art, language, children’s minds, the idea of hard work, the lower court systems, the Supreme Court, the media, and have performed many more slight nudges towards our goal so when the time is right we will be ready to strike in a smooth effective manner without much chaos and
