Within most psychological studies, animals are often used in the experiment for the progression of research. For some individuals, the idea of having research with animals is unnecessary for a few reasons. The first, which makes no sense to me is that animal research is unethical. The people who say this are obviously unaware of what “unethical” is as psychologists mainly focus on behavior and reaction of animals instead of purely harming them; in fact, conducting human experiments instead of animals is what’s truly unethical.
