Throughout the break we had finalized which idea would be best for the event but also who would be interested in the activities we had chosen. We also figured out our budget problem, the professor found a way that the department would give us 100 dollars to us for expenses. During this meeting, Lauren was in the process of getting the mask for the photo booth, Diante came up with the new idea of using tattoos instead of face painting because the person who he was considering to face paint had a schedule conflict. So he decides to use tattoos that had Christmas and alien characters. Since I was interested, I told him I would help him with the tattoos in the event. I also took the job role of getting raffle tickets to be able to hand out to the audience so they can win price from the cinema studies department. So then we decided that on our last meeting we would make sure everyone knows what to bring.
On our last meeting Wednesday the 30th, planning was mostly over, we decided that we would do trivia, which in my opinion was already had to many activities going on but they continued to run it. We also made sure that everyone was bringing what he or she need to bring, like Christmas decoration, which Taylor volunteered to bring. I noticed that some activities that I thought would be a success weren’t and that activities that would not be successful actually were. For example, the trivia activity, which I throughout was going to not going successful since we didn’t plan on it, was the most successful. The reason I think it was successful was because many people liked candy canes and they were willing to do some trivia to get one. The trivia consisted of Christmas movie lines and Christmas songs. I loved how the audiences would engage with us, and talk about their lives and interacting in the activities. It was truly an amazing
