FSA Practice Writing False names, or pen names if you will have been used threw out history. Some women had to use a man’s name so they could get published because women weren’t allowed to write, or shouldn't be writing about such a subject. Maybe they have to use a different name because people expect a specific story genre form that author, but the author wants to try something new. A new name is like a new identity, and some authors want to try new things such as a new style of writing without the feedback or comments from their original fans. Pen names can be used for a number of reasons Charlotte Brontë had to use a pen name because she was a woman of the Victorian era.…

Immigrant workers in the United States have made a large contribution to the agricultural economy of the United States. Relations and agreements between the U.S. and Mexico have greatly influenced the migration of rural workers through policies such as guest worker programs. The Bracero program, an example of such policies, was an agreement between the U.S and Mexico that allowed for the importing of Mexican workers through the use of contracts. Despite the opportunity that many believed was to come from the system, it resulted in a negative utilization of Mexican immigrant workers.…

Kaiser has a very interesting history that has guided the HMO (Health Maintenance Organization) to where they are today. The term data-driven instruction (DDI), also called data supported instruction, is a systematic approach that is used to improve student learning based on available data (Lewis, Madison-Harris, Muoneke, & Times, 2010). It is a cyclic and precise process that continually improves learner’s success. The cycle has three repetitive stages, namely, assessment, analysis, and action. The latter stages provide a school-wide support framework for improving students learning throughout the year by identifying gaps in their learning (Hamilton, Halverson, Jackson, Mandinach, Supovitz, Wayman, & Steele, 2009). Data or evidence is the most crucial component of this instruction approach.…

I have always considered my relationship with writing to be very insignificant. Although I enjoy spending time verbally expressing my thoughts and feelings to others, it becomes difficult when these thoughts and feelings are expressed through writing.
