Cindy’s team are motivated to perform out of fear. She doesn’t communicate well or consider employee’s feelings when they interact. She has a habit of providing negative feedback to people in public. Her lack of sensitivity to her employee's feelings causes employees to fear her. She presents her criticism and directive to resolve an issue without first determining the cause. Team members are not allowed to talk about the issue or resolution with her. They are instructed to address problems without a clear understanding of how to prevent the issue from occurring again in the future.
Effects of Current Leadership Cindy's leadership style has negatively impacted organizational culture. Employees are demotivated and perform work out of fear of disciplinary action.
