Q1. I will like to discuss your annotations on my IDH and me paper. Also, are there any observations you have about my progress up to know and some strategies to improve my writing?
A1. My professor checked his comments on my paper and highlighted the fact that sometimes I described the assignments instead of explaining why it was important and there were some minor grammar issues. However, professor Migliaccio told me that at the moment he was not so worried with my grammar because all my work after that has been very good. He also recommended that I go to the Writing Center sometimes so I could receive some feedback on my papers.
Q2. Professor, I am interested in research related to environmental topics, do you know if Miami Dade College offers any opportunities pertaining to this area? Also, how do I get information about the Narrow Ridge seminar?
A2. Professor Migliaccio told me to go to the ARCOS department in building 4 and look for …show more content…
Also, he added that for my spring term I could go to the Tropical Garden because they have very good opportunities for environmental research, focusing on marine ecosystems. Furthermore, he gave me names of second years that did similar projects last year and could help me regarding any doubts I had. On the other hand, we talked about the Narrow Ridge opportunity as a shift in perspective or “awakening” to the real world. Finally, Migliaccio refer me to room 3506 with Madeline Alison so that I could get more information on the Narrow Ridge
