How do professional writers deal with writing blocks? Professional authors have battled with writer's block since the start of literature itself, famous authors such as Mark Twain even “offered advice” for writers to overcome writer's block: ““The secret of getting ahead is getting started. Professionalism by definition is doing what you're asked of with an expected quality. For me to be professional I believe that I must be under authority, in other words never having a better idea then my boss or my teachers and only have the utmost respect for them. This is to obtain the quality that they expect in the job that is done. This is something that I have learned from my dad. He often talks about what goes on at work and he always has said "if my boss tells me to do something and I know that it's stupid and not going to work, I do it the way he wants anyway…

How someone is treated in the workplace will impact on how professional they are in their job. While working at a previous educational setting I felt, although the school worked well, information was not shared well with every member of staff. good communication is, in my opinion, a key component to professionalism. You feel a more valued member of the team if information and decisions are shared with you. Although I understand not all information can be shared due to confidentiality, it is important that each member of staff knows what is happening around the setting.…

I was told that you only have to be professional in business, but I later found that this is a half-truth. It is true that in the business world that being professional is expected, but it also spans out to everyday interactions. Professionalism to me is the tool/skill you use to conduct yourself with other people in an in respective manner, but also to make an impactful first impression. I like to use it especially in interactions with new people and not just with employers. Though professionalism is an important to my success, it is also, as I found out, a key to open new doors of opportunity.…
