Professionalism Professionalism is a trait that is imperative for those who desire to be the best nurse he or she can be. It is defined in Ferris State’s BSN (Bachelors of Science in Nursing) Program Learning Outcome 6 as to, “Develop a level of professionalism that is congruent with the inherent values and ethics of the discipline of nursing” (Bishop, 16).
