When I think of professionalism in a work-related setting, the first thing that comes to mind is appearance and demeanor. The first impression is the most important one, it’s where you sell yourself and make a good impression. In an office, all therapists are dressed appropriately with men usually in shirts and ties while the women wear dress pants with a blouse. The very first thing a patient sees when they enter the facility, is what the therapists are wearing.
